| Maron comes from a muggle family from France who moved to London when she was a child. At first she thought it would mean her parents would spend more time at home but it had the reverse effect. Her parents went abroad for work and she barely heard from them. Luckily though she got a letter in the mail that said she was a witch and could go away to school to learn all about her powers. When she arrived at school she learned that she was a Metamorphmagus and that's why her hair turned from brown to blonde and her eyes from brown to purple. Maron worked hard on training her new abilities to make a new life for her. A down side of being a witch though was that she wasn't allowed to tell her best friend Miyako who was a muggle. As Maron grew up she developed a knack for being able to break curses and worked towards being a curse breaker for Gringotts. Once she graduated school Maron got an entry-level job at the ministry of Magic in the misuse of muggle artifacts department. She used it as a chance to build up her skills before trying Gringotts. While on the job at muggle places Maron would use her Metamorphmagus skills to change her look so no one would recognize her and went by the name Jeanne. After a two years of hard work Maron got a curse-breaking job at Gringotts and she was thrilled to be doing some good in the world. Her recent employment at Hogwarts is partially due to an incident involving cursed muggle paintings. Maron, as Jeanne, was breaking the curses but each time the paintings would disappear with the curses and the muggle police began to look for a paint thief who looked like Jeanne. |
